Hi
What's the address of your site?
Do you have a site on Tradespace?
After you've set up a new site, it can take a little while for search engines to find and understand your pages. Sometimes sites with very little content (only a few pages) can take longer than others.
As you add more content and start to get a little bit of traffic to your site, the process can become a bit quicker.
Most sites on BT Tradespace are picked up pretty quickly, but if you like, you can submit your site to search engines to get them started.
There is some info about this on the search engine sites -
Google - www.google.com/addurl/
Yahoo - siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit
MSN - search.msn.com.sg/docs/submit.aspx

Hi GMW
Fraid I don't have a solution for your predicament, just to say I am in the same boat. My web site has only been up and running for a week, I keep checking google and msn etc, but even if i type in exact details about my web site name, location etc, my competitors come up and not me. Very frustating!! the company that built my web site tell me google update their searches every month or so, and my site won't get pick up until then, so I could be waiting a month or a coupla days depending on the last time google updated. Make sure you are signed up with as many online business directories as possible (you can sign up to them for free).
