eBay Sellers - YOUR COMMENTS URGENTLY REQUIRED
Hi Guys, I note that at the moment there are 579 eBAY SELLERS on this site. I am interested to know your thoughts on the way eBAY is forcing us all into a corner with all their NEW rules. The latest one being that certain items can only be listed offering PayPal as a method of payment, i'm certain that you are all aware that eBay owns PayPal, I have also read that in Australia they have made PayPal as the only accepted method of payment, so it is just a question of time before we in the UK are forced into the same means of accepting payments. I for one will never accept PayPal, mainly because they always favour the buyer and not the seller in any dispute and the seller always looses out financialy. Also I accept Debit / Credit card payment direct, so why should I have to pay more money to sell on eBay as well as the additional eBay fees and then RISK if I were to accept PayPal that I would never be paid for the item that I have sent to the buyer. eBay sellers we must all stick together and use this site ( BT Tradespace ) as our means of selling our goods. as I understand BT T are looking into the possibility of splitting their site into two sections i.e. for those members offering SERVICES and for those SELLING GOODS, this can only help us sellers. I look forward to reading your commments. Regards Ken - antiques et cetera
