I would like to here from people who have opted to drop the chemical enhancers and go natural. I would loke to know what sparked their decision...
I am all natural and loving it! once I discovered the right products for my hair there was no turning back. Through research I discovered products that were suitable for my hair and made the task of managing and maintaining my hair easier. Have a look below.

Hi All,
I decided to have my hair natural about 2 months ago. I am using some really good products that make it easier for me to maintain and manage my hair. This was my biggest worry but it has turned out well and I will not be reverting back to the chemical products. I decided to go natural because it was simply just getting a little bit expensive for me and pointless. My hair is currently in twists and is easy to manage.
I am natural in hair and spirit...... I would definately encourage more black women to do the same. I finally feel like i own my look/image.
Peace....

Hello all,
To be honest my hair has been natural most of my life though I've gone through periods when it has been curly or straight permed. I also had a weave-on once but it looked like a mop!
With chemicals my hair always ended up breaking, probably wasn't going to the salon frequently enough but my hair is much much happier natural.
Now I cornrow or plait it from time to time but mostly I'll use a ceramic tong or get it tonged at the salon (for an extra straight look - it stays straight for quite a while unless I'm caught in the rain).
